I never really got to know Ebony very well because I only had her for about 1/2 year before she had to be put to sleep. I remember where she hadn't been handled very well she was quite nervous and didn't tame as quickly as Perdie.

Before she was put to sleep she had two strokes, the first was treated as an ear infection as she was holding her head to the side.

As she started to get better she had a second one that was a lot worse. This time she couldn't eat so the night before I took her to the vets I made her a last meal of soft food and helped her eat it. The next day I took her to the vets, I knew she would have to be put to sleep and was very upset at this point so I let them take her away to put her to sleep. The last memory I have of her was in the lady vets hands at the computer as she was typing in what had to be done.  To be honest I wish I had never left her there as I would have liked to have buried her at home and I would never leave one of my animals again.

I don't have many photos of Ebony but the ones I do have are shown below.
