On this page you will be able to see the growth of  Luna's litter born on the 26th of August 2001, from 2 days to 8 weeks of age, I have taken a selection of the best photos of the kitten that I have and put them in order here. This is to cut down on the number of pages I have, it will also be interesting to have the photos all on one page so they can be compared to one another. I hope you enjoy looking back on the past 8weeks that these little trouble makers have spent with me :o)

The Mum and Dad.

The first photo is of my rat Luna who was the mother of the litter and was bred by Arrencrest rattery and the second photo is of Seal the father of the litter who I borrowed from Arrencrest rattery.

Week 1.

The first photo is of the babies 2 days old as you can see some have milk in their bellies, I could also tell what eye colour they had and make out the fait markings. The second photo is at the end of their first week and its amazing to see how much darker they have got.

Week 2.

The first photo here, shows them as they are still getting their coats through and they still have a pink ting to them. The second photo shows them with allot more fur.

Week 3.

Week 3 and all their eyes have opened and they are looking like proper little rats they are even eating some solids!

Week 4.

Week 4 and they where getting bigger and bigger and they started to really enjoy coming out and explouring.

Week 5.

At the end of this week the boys where separated from their mother, I think it knocked them back a bit as they didn't have her for security anymore, although they adapted. The first photo shows them before they where separated all desperate for a cuddle!

Week 6.

All the kittens started looking lighter by the minuet, they soon started to look like proper banded huskies.

Week 7 - 8.

The first photo is of the boy that went to live at Arrencrest rattery where the Mum was bred and the Dad came from, his name is now Sunday and the second photo shows the two boys looking to jump out of the cage!

I hope you enjoyed the photos ! It is truly a miracle to how fast they grow and how much they change.
